MEDJOB Launches in Egypt: A Bridge Between Talent and Need

Bridges are not only made of metal, cement, and stones.
They are built in minds, connecting cultures, transferring knowledge, and opening paths for progress.”
Dr. Ahmed Youssef
In April 2025, ANSAL Integrated Pharma Solutions GmbH (ANSAL IPS) launched its MEDJOB initiative in Egypt, a milestone rooted in vision and purpose. The project was created to address one of Germany’s most urgent healthcare challenges: the growing shortage of pharmacists, especially in community pharmacies, which are essential pillars of the healthcare system.
More than a migration or training program, MEDJOB is a bridge, designed to guide qualified pharmacists from the Middle East through a structured journey to professional licensing and integration in Germany. At the same time, it helps ensure that pharmacies across Germany can continue to operate and serve their communities.
To mark the launch, Dr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO and founder of ANSAL IPS, visited four top pharmacy faculties in Egypt: BUE, MSA, MIU, and AAST. During each visit, Dr. Youssef delivered an inspiring talk, sharing his personal story and unveiling the MedJob Bridge, a clear and supportive path from education to licensed practice in Germany.
Egypt was chosen as the first launch country due to its strong pharmaceutical education and high-potential talent pool. The response was immediate: many students registered for MEDJOB, officially entering the MJ Prep Track and starting their journey.
This initiative reflects the broader mission of ANSAL IPS: to build meaningful, cross-border connections that benefit both sides, offering opportunities to pharmacists in the region while solving a critical need within the German healthcare system
