On April 29th, 2025, MedJob participated in the Faculty of Pharmacy Career Day at Misr International University (MIU) — a campus that holds special meaning for Dr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of ANSAL IPS and founder of the MedJob initiative, who began his own academic career at MIU as a teaching assistant before receiving a DAAD scholarship to pursue his PhD in Germany.
Founded in 1996, Misr International University has grown into a highly respected institution, offering a unique blend of Egyptian and international educational standards. Its Faculty of Pharmacy, established in 1997, is committed to producing competent, globally aware pharmacists who combine scientific knowledge with clinical expertise and community engagement. MIU emphasizes research, professional ethics, and continuous development.
Highlights from the Event:
• Inspiring talks on how to become a licensed pharmacist in Germany, with a clear overview of the MedJob Bridge and the full preparatory path
• One-on-one interactions with students eager to ask practical questions about relocation, language courses, and licensing exams
• An engaging presentation titled “Bridging Dreams and Reality: The Power to Transform Your Future”, delivered by Dr. Youssef, emphasizing the role of MedJob in making international careers a reality
The day also featured a separate presentation by DAAD representatives about study and scholarship opportunities in Germany.
