Prof. Dr. Assem El Ammary and Prof. Dr. Abdelhamid Marzook are renowned specialists in German linguistics, translation, and intercultural communication. With decades of academic and professional experience, they ensure that our courses meet the highest educational standards.

While they personally lead and mentor students whenever possible, they also carefully select and supervise other highly qualified instructors to maintain consistent quality across all lessons. Emeritus Prof. Dr. Assem El Ammary, Expert in German Linguistics & Translation

Prof. Dr. Assem El Ammary is a distinguished scholar and expert in German linguistics, translation studies, and intercultural communication. With a career spanning over four decades, he has played a pivotal role in German-Arabic academic and cultural exchange.

Prof. Dr. Assem El Ammary

He served as a Professor at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University in Cairo, specializing in German linguistics, translation, and Islamic studies. As a co-founder and coordinator of the joint Master’s program in German-Arabic specialized translation between Leipzig University and Ain Shams University, he has contributed significantly to fostering bilingual expertise in the region.

Prof. El Ammary was the founding Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun in Luxor and played a key role in organizing the first German Cultural Days in Upper Egypt. Beyond academia, he is a certified translator and interpreter for Arabic and German, having worked with institutions like the German Federal Press Office, European Union, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and various embassies.

In addition to his academic and translation work, Prof. El Ammary is a renowned lecturer, having held visiting positions at multiple universities in Egypt and Germany. He has also published extensively on translation studies, linguistics, and cultural interactions, earning awards for his contributions to literary translation.

His vast experience in language instruction makes him an invaluable mentor for candidates preparing for their German language courses at MEDJOB.

With a strong academic background, Prof. Marzouk has pursued advanced studies in Germany and obtained his Ph.D. with highest honors (summa cum laude) in German literature and cultural studies. His expertise extends beyond academia, having served as a guest professor at Leipzig University, specializing in German-Arabic translation and professional language instruction.

Beyond his academic contributions, Prof. Marzouk is an accomplished translator and cultural expert, with numerous published works in literature, law, and economics. His extensive experience in teaching German as a foreign language (DaF) makes him an invaluable part of the MEDJOB German Language & Integration Program.

With a commitment to excellence, Prof. Marzouk ensures that MEDJOB candidates not only master the German language but also develop the cultural awareness needed for a successful transition to life and work in Germany.
